About Us

Alternative Explosion started off as a project that my wife and I decided to play around with.  We wanted to create a site that would highlight a variety of different subjects, but ultimately the project fell into my hands, and I decided to focus the direction towards the music industry.

After a good solid year of neglect, I’ve decided to freshen things up a bit with the look of Alternative Explosion.  I had a new logo created by James of Skull Candy Media for the page, and decided to update the layout to reflect the new graphic.  The result is a fresh, eye pleasing page that I’m happy to start working on again.

At this point you’re probably thinking, great…  but who is this guy?  (you know, the guy that’s writing this article about…  uhh…  something?)

I am Eric Hunter II.  I’m the guitarist, keyboardist, and whatever else I need to be in the band, Gravity Euphonic.  My band is signed to Radio-Active-Music, and we’ve played a lot of cool places throughout the country.  I spend most of my time working a real job, or at home with the family, but I’ve got a bunch of other projects that keep me busy, including this site, playing video games and this odd construction project that I’ve recently undertaken that in time will yield me a nice audio recording studio.  I’m also from the future…

What does the future hold for this site then?  I can’t tell you how it all turns out, but I’m hoping to start focusing on several cool projects including random tracks reviews for bands from the internet, news about stuff that interests me, and I’m sure there will be the occasional rant or two about stuff that only I really give a damn about!
