Before I got anything pierced I’d always ask people “Hey…did it hurt?” And of course I considered how it would look. However, “Did it hurt” is really a bit simplistic. It doesn’t cover day to day wear, just the act of getting it done. Really, we’ve all been stuck with a needle at one point or another – be it another piercing or a shot, or just stepping on a stray nail. So we all kinda know what it’ll feel like getting it done. So asking “Did it hurt” is pretty silly and a bit redundant.

What I want to impart to you is some of my personal experience (and maybe other people’s experiences) as to what it’s like to have these piercings day to day and the realistic pros and cons you may run into, but wouldn’t necessarily think of without having done it yourself. I know I would have found something like this really helpful BEFORE getting these done, so I’ll do my best to give you a good idea of what it’s like.

So that’s the kind of thing you can expect to find in the piercing catagory…so I guess I should get started!
